Is the disparity between University and Polytechnic graduates fair?

Is the disparity between University and Polytechnic graduates fair?

Formal education as we all know is any type of education one receives outside his homes, such as the ones we receive from our various primary and secondary schools either they are private or public schools. Now,would anyone reasonably say that private schools are better than public schools, simply because their students pay expensively to be admitted? If you answer "no", then you should ask:" why would university graduates be accorded more respect ,and receive bigger salaries than polytechnic graduates just because the university's requirements for admissions are heavier and more demanding than polytechnic's? Are they both not tertiary institutions opened for anyone who has passed his WAEC or secondary school external examinations?
Again I asked, is the disparity between university and polytechnic graduates fair? Take a look at this as example. Every university academic calendar has two semesters,so does polytechnic academic calendar. So why the disparity? Anyways, since disparity between university and polytechnic graduates has come to be,let's talk real now! Knowledge they say is power, not money, not types of schools that someone has attended. Therefore, I say to you graduate of polytechnic who is truly embittered with humiliation just because you are a polytechnic graduate. " always think of yourself as a material you truly are! Look at the countless number of training and practicals you went through during your school days. Have they not made you a better you? So,who is the university graduate out there to make you look inferior? Again, all fingers they say are not equal! Yes,all fingers are not equal. But can we say that there is any of these fingers maybe the little finger is not important and should be cut off or neglected just because it is not as big as others? No. And no one has ever tried it!
Disparity between university and polytechnic graduates may not be fair, but you do have a place,in fact many places and lots of wide opportunities in labor market, and  your place as a polytechnic graduate is honestly appreciated. Have you not seen a university graduate who has dumped his degree certificate and begin looking for any lesser job and position? If I were you,I would ask myself: "what is this certificate anyway instead of the question, is disparity between university and polytechnic graduates Fair? Dear reader, hurting oneself because of material content is to your body, soul and spirit, an injurious abuse!!!
