the rise and fall of educational standard in Nigeria- education ordinance, education system in Nigeria,

Like Osindeinde (1999) who stated that :education is an organized and sustained communication designed to bring about learning which involves the acquisition of basic and necessary skills, knowledge and competence by the learner to change his/her attitude positively towards contributing to the national economic development. It is the society that educates the child, and such education starts from early years of life popularly referred to as life-long education. Education provides the child the opportunities to discover self and become useful and self-reliant. We talked about acquisition of necessary skills to the national development as one of the objectives of education. What about the acquisition of basic skills for personal building and development? Shouldn't it  have come first before talking about the national development? How can students build themselves when sorting and engaging in examination malpractices are the other of the day?  How can they gain the necessary knowledge to build up when schools sell hand out to students for easy passing of examinations?Yes,this is another fall of educational standard in Nigeria.
