This Is Why Anambra Youths Burnt Down A Church In Ekwulobia

Youths in Anambra village burn down church after teacher marries his 17yr old sister

You know, whether anyone believes it or not, youths are the instrument of both development and destruction. They are the strength and value of community and society.

This is not to say that whatever thing youths do is good because sometimes, they also abuse and misuse their strength, committing more abomination than
they intend to prevent or stop.

Recently is a news from Anambra state Nigeria that youths in Ekwulobia town, Anambra state burnt down a church for wedding a teacher who got married to his 17 year old younger sister on a claim that God revealed to him to do  so.

Can you imagine that somebody?  Is God not the know who says that you must not see your brother's or sister's nakedness?  That anyone who does so must be stoned to death? What is the teacher claiming, lying in the name of God? And by the way, what makes people have the impression that every vision and revelation comes from God?

The name of the teacher who got married to his younger sister is  Chiadikobi Ezeibekwe. And you might be wondering what kind of pastor wedded a man and his blood sister in church and why on earth a called man of God could accept to do this in the house of God?

Find out here:

''Chiadikobi quoted Bible passages in Deuteronomy to illustrate that siblings could marry each other. He said: “One advantage of doing this is that it discourages divorce. It also retains family values and norms.”
He said he did not pay any bride price to anybody in respect of the marriage. He said: “I don’t feel guilty. I don’t feel ashamed. I don’t feel intimidated in any way. Only God can stop us."
The wedding which incensed the local youths was conducted by Chiadikobi’s elder brother, Chijioke Ezeibekwe, who is the  priest of Dwelling Fullness of God Church, Agba. The youth of the village then burnt the church to the ground.''
No wonder, you see the point? It seems evil deeds run in the blood of Ezeibekwe's family. A man of all the women on earth chose to marry his own sister, supported by his own brother who also is a pastor of a church, and the girl to be married to,his own sister, did not object, refuse or frown at the decision!

In fact why would the youths of Ekwulobia descend on the church and burn it down? Did the church do or commit any crime here? In what way is church,a building, part of the arrangement of the abominable act! Shouldn't the youths have abolished the people involved in the marriage rather than burn down the church itself?

You see, sometimes, youths misbehave and act stupidly! But hey,we have an objection here:

Reacting to the issue, the traditional prime minister of Ekwulobia, Gabriel Ezeukwu, said,
“Agba village youths, who saw the marriage as  an abomination,  set ablaze the church where the wedding took place.
“I restrained them from further action against the man and his family.  If it were in the past, the entire family would be burnt down because this is a grave abomination and sin.”
Oh,I see!The youths would have done a good job of cleansing rottenness in the land completely. But having restrained the youths from further action, what necessary action has the traditional prime minister taken to show that the marriage between siblings is abomination?

Well,I just hope the traditional leaders of Ekwulobia know what they are doing!!!
