Effects of depression and mental disorder -depression and causes,

Depression is ,the feelings of severe despondency and dejection,where as Mental illness refers to a wide range of mental health conditions — disorders that affect your mood, thinking and behavior. Examples of mental illness include depression, anxiety disorders, schizophrenia, eating disorders and addictive behaviors. Many people have mental health concerns from time to time.

Some of the more common disorders are depression, bipolar disorder, dementia, schizophrenia and anxiety disorders. Symptoms may include changes in mood, personality, personal habits and/or social withdrawal. Mental health problems may be related to excessive stress due to a particular situation or series of events.

A lot of people fear that once one suffers from mental illness or mental disorder,he ceases to be useful to himself and society where he belongs. In fact,some people who have at one time or the other suffered mental disorder have been discriminated to be married to or to be employed by employers. No,this is absolutely wrong,and should be kicked against! Good enough,it is impressive to know that one of the most popular artists in Nigeria,Teebillz once suffered from mental disorder,and now he is doing fine! Here are his talks on the effects of mental disorder:

On his daily routine locked up in his own world, Teebillz said:

My daily routine was the same but I was just not, it got to a point that  I just didn't feel like doing anything. I was conducting business and all that but my interest wasn't there. Nothing was interesting to me at a particular point.

Did you know that at some points,Teebillz began to think of committing suicide? Hear him:

At what point did he start having suicidal thoughts? Teebillz said;

I think before 3-4 months before my incident. Everyone around me that are the closet people to me, they knew it. I even had a conversation with them that "Hey, I don't know what's wrong with me. I just feel like killing myself." The people close to me didn't know what to do, they were not informed or educated about it. For me, I can understand their mindset now. Yeah prayers will do it's part but it's not based on prayers only. You have to go get the medical treatment that you need and prayer can be the one to support it. Everyone that knows me know that I love myself. I don't think anyone loves their self like I do, my confidence level was on 150%. I was fearless.

Yes, mental illness can be treated. This means that many people who have a mental illness, and are treated, recover well or even completely. However, because there are many different factors contributing to the development of each illness, it can sometimes be difficult to predict how, when, or to what degree someone is going to get better. But surely,mental disorder can be treated through Psychological therapy where a Psychologist talks to the patient about his condition and what to do to come out of it as well as through medication and community support program.
